My randomness kicks in. I am listening to Alex to’tou diao’ Yeah baby yeah baby!
I recalled those times having lesson with the biomed students. How we all pon school together and sing K box, so crazy, united and close! The random shot like flu spreading through us. The fun that embrace us regardless of gender, that splendid moment I wished I could just freeze time!

This carries the memories of my year one semester two, where I met Dai Kuan, Andrea, Ching Yee, Bau and company. Man, that is whole lots of fun too! Memories consit of ‘suaning’ our dear fac, Mr Looi, and also Jia Qing(class mate) and not forgeting, my so call ‘bananas’ grp (Simin, Tricia, Yasmin, Pauline & Me)

OH MINE), Hong Jun Yang, Campus superstar 2008, JJ lin etc. AND OF COURSE! I get to go to their press conferences, OMG that was so cool la and I get to gave them my name card. Haha!

OKOK!!!!

Alvin's birthday fall in his field camp which is in TAIPEI JUNGLE!!! :(

And sooo he celebrated his birthday with Taipei's AH MENG!!! :P

WOW! See the Ah meng SOOO HAPPI!

SO instead of letting AH MENG celebrate with him. I plotted a series of birthday surprise for him!!!

I made up puzzled for him to solve, he have to like break the code to find out the location.

Firstly i hide up his birthday present and he will have to search for it in his room.

He look so cute climbing up and down just searching for things! :P

After like 20mins then he find it all! :D

And 2nd stop, i brought him to a Spa birthday Treat.

You know why Spa(massage, ear candling), BECAUSE i predicted that he will be so sore with all his training and stuff. So i decided that a Spa treat will be good for him to recharge and relax before his taipei treat!!! Ease his ache with a great body! :D

Well... During his one an half hour Spa, I went walking around and this are the shots i took:

Hakaka... Its a beautiful place to eat, shop, play, relax and be PAMPERED!!!

So I went there to do pedicure!

SINGAPORE: Five more China—made food products sold in Singapore have been detected to contain the industrial chemical melamine.

Two are flavoured milk and three are confectionaries containing milk powder as an ingredient.
They are: Dutch Lady Banana Flavoured Milk; Dutch Lady Honeydew Flavoured Milk; Silang — House of Steamed Potato — Potato Cracker; Puffed Rice Rolls — Butter Corn Flavour; and Puffed Rice Rolls — Cheese Flavour.

The latest findings bring the total number of affected products to eight.
The other products that were earlier found to be contaminated with melamine are Yi Li Choice Dairy Fruit Bar Yogurt Flavoured Ice Confection; Dutch Lady Strawberry Flavoured Milk; and White Rabbit Creamy Candy.

The Agri—Food and Veterinary Authority of Singapore (AVA) says the public need not be unduly concerned as it has suspended the import and sale of all milk and milk products from China since 19 September.

AVA also says only low levels of melamine were detected in the affected products. Consumers have to consume large quantities of the contaminated products over a prolonged period of time to have any potential ill effects on health.

For example, an adult weighing 60kg needs to eat 13 packs of Silang House Steamed Potato crackers daily for an entire lifetime to be affected by melamine contamination.
Similarly, a child weighing 30kg will need to eat six—and—a—half packs of the potato crackers for the ill effects of melamine to take root.

For enquiries on affected products, consumers can call AVA’s hotline at 63257625 during office hours (8.30am—6pm, Monday—Friday).

For health concerns associated with the ingestion of melamine, consumers can call Ministry of Health’s hotline at 1800—2254122.

Consumers can also visit AVA’s website for more information.

Soy reduces sperm count: study

WASHINGTON (AFP) - - Eating or drinking a lot of products containing soy and isoflavones can result in reduced sperm count among men, a Harvard School of Public Health study has shown.

"There has been a lot of interest on whether soy affects fertility because many studies in animals suggest that this is the case, but there are very few studies in humans," said researcher and lead study author Jorge Chavarro.

"This only the third study to look at whether soy food has a relationship with fertility in humans and the first one to find an association in agreement to the animal studies," he told AFP.

Soy contains isoflavones, an organic compound which acts like female hormones and appears to impede a man's ability to produce sperm.

"Isoflavones are structurally similar to estrogen and can mimic the action of estrogen in the body," said Chavarro.

"Soy is expected to have estrogen-like activity in many organs and tissues which can be beneficial for some things but it's certainly not beneficial for sperm production, at least that's what animal models suggest."

The Harvard study examined the soy intake of 99 men, determined to be part of couples experiencing fertility difficulties, over the course of three months.

"There was an inverse association between soy food intake and sperm concentration that remained significant after accounting for age, abstinence time, body mass index, caffeine and alcohol intake and smoking," the study said.

Those who ate the most soy had 41 million sperm per milliliter less than men who did not eat soy. An average man has between 80 million and 120 million sperm per milliliter.

I am simply captivated by Mamma Mia film! the setting! the Beach! the MUSIC! OMG!

I did a crazy research about the place.

The movie was film at Skopelos ( Greek:Σκόπελος) is a Greek islandin the western Aegean sea.

Skopelos is a Greek island in the western Aegean Sea. Actually it is the greenest island in Greece. It has 67km of coastline, being 17km long and 8km wide.

According to a legend, around 1600 BC Cretans, whose leader was the mythical king Staphylos, son of God Dionisos and Ariadne, settled the island.
In 1936, excavations in the area of Staphylos uncovered the tomb of King Staphylos containing his gold sword and many other artifacts.

The climate in Skopelos is mild and healthy as the island has a lot of water and rich vegetation mostly of pines, platans, olive trees, walnuts, pear-trees, figs and grapes. More than 50% of the island area is covered by a virgin forest of pine-trees.

This has to be one of the most photographed houses here..its located just under the walls of the Panagia tou Pirgou, and its classical combination of blue, white and geraniums of different colours, make it irresistably photographable

Want to know what they mean after they pass out? Below are my info to share :)

The seven types of stool are:

Means: Constipation!!!

Type 1: Separate hard lumps, like nuts (hard to pass)

Type 2: Sausage-shaped, but lumpy

Means: "Ideal Stools"

Type 3: Like a sausage but with cracks on its surface

Type 4: Like a sausage or snake, smooth and soft

Means: Tending towards Diarrhea or cholera

Type 5: Soft blobs with clear cut edges (passed easily)

Type 6: Fluffy pieces with ragged edges, a mushy stool

Type 7: Watery, no solid pieces (entirely liquid)

Color and odor variations of feces (from Wikipedia)

Yellow: Can be caused by an infection known as Giardiasis, which derives its name from Giardia, a tiny parasitic organism. If Giardia infects the intestines it can cause severe yellow diarrhea.
This is a dangerous communicable infection and must be reported.

Another cause of yellowing is a condition known as Gilbert's Syndrome. This condition is characterized by jaundice and hyperbilirubinemia. Hyperbilirubinemia occurs when too much bilirubin is present in the circulating blood.

I got this email from my good friend and here i am posting about the amazing bridge :)

The The Oresund Bridge (or should it be called tunnel) goes under water to allow movement of ships.
In order for ships to pass, this bridge is half under the water.

In the tunnel, its like any other tunnel i think, its amazing to feel that, here you are in the car in this tunnel SURROUNDED by water! Woo~

The Bridge (Danish Øresundsbroen, Swedish Öresundsbron, joint hybrid name Øresundsbron) is a combined two-track rail and four-lane road bridge across the Oresund strait.

The bridge-tunnel is the longest combined road and rail bridge in Europe and connects the two metropolitan areas of the Oresund Region: the Danish capital of Copenhagen and the Swedish city of Malmö.

The international European route E20 runs across the bridge, as does the Oresund Railway Line.

Good good news for CAVIAR lovers!!!

I was on board SBS bus and i saw this bunch of bubbly kids on stage!!! they are the
JazzKids!

Created in May 2004, by Artistic Director of Kids Performing™, Kuo Po, JazzKids is made up of children age between 8 to 14 years singing and performing big band, swing, and Jazz standards. They are the first group of children in ASIA performing this genre of music.

I am going to talk about TADPOLE :)

Tadpoles are the larval stage of frogs, and spend their lives in water. They hatch from eggs, and gradually change into frogs. Tadpoles cannot breathe outside of water, they have gills like fish. After Lunch, I went to RP! My Polytechnic!

This is the first time i enter the sport complex! (-.-')
How ironical uh? For a ex RP Student. *laugh*

Notice the student there? They are the Secondary School students.
I am told to sit there like a statue to supervise, in case anything happen.

Basically, they are split into two group, the swimmer and non Swimmer. After which they will be taught the relevant skills.

The coaches are patient lots :)

Kids nowadays are really fortunate, they get to have swimming lesson included in their class. Good yeah.

After the supervision, I went back to office and boom, went off to my tuition class. Tutor my Chubby cute boi boi.

Ya dah~ he is eating oyster... BIG! Hmmm but its not very fresh. This picture was NOT well shot because the oyster does not taste very good. *disappointed*

Things to look out for in the above image:
1) His Shirt
Haha~ I brought it for him! Nice eh? :P

2) The amount of food.
Look on the table, its almost populated with the greedy me actions. I took so much food, i just cant wait to take even more!!!

3) Soups
We took 2 kind of soup, 1 is shark fin, the other is crocodile soup.

The shark fin soup practically taste like vegetarian soup -.-'

The crocodile soup taste like bu ku teh!

I like the chicken wing! i ate like 5 of them! and chocolate fondue! But only grape is available. -.-'

Feels VERY full.
The ambience was ok, the food also ok. There isnt much WOW effect on me. Was pinning for more actually.

My verdict: Go to this buffet if you have the extra money to spare.
Wants a very nice romantic, top class food. Somewhere else maybe.

My precious commented that I did not leave any reflection for the below news/article. So as told, below are my comments.

I generally feel that the deaths during PT do NOT prove that exercise is the real culprit and therefore a dangerous activity; or, stated differently, whether exercise and sudden death are causally related.

From my basic knowledge, exercise is GOOD but it needs to be done in a set with a good warm up and constant exercise training pace daily/weekly (whichever your body loves)

There is something known as the ‘Body Shock’ which I learn previously years ago, the ‘body shock’ is the one type which I am trying to bring across here, now. I would describe as overall fatigue. As we all know, our body is a holistic unit and hard intense training done for long time periods has a cumulative effect. Notice I underline ‘cumulative’?

As we exercises, our body experiences fatigue and slowly it becomes manifested by overwhelming sensation of tiredness, enveloping the whole body. In my experience, this kind of fatigue is the direct result of an accumulation of intense workout .Its when you feel tired then its power! Its a signature that you have make significants improvment physically

Coming back, I feel that people who exercise and are fitter are LESS likely to suffer from cardiovascular disease and die suddenly than people who do not. Why do I say that? I mean some people die example this army guy, due to lack consistent exercise. And being brought into the army training would certainly comes as a sudden SHOCK, disrupt to his daily routine of staying at home, communication with computers etc.

So before I end, I just feel that anyone, be it army, children, men, woman. We all should practice pace exercise, know your body, do not over tire it. Especially Army guys, let your sirs/sergeants know if you do not feel ok.

Singapore suspends military PT after deaths

SINGAPORE, June 12, 2008 (AFP) - Singapore's military has suspended its physical and endurance training for three days after two soldiers died this week, the defence minister said Thursday.

"I support the decision of the SAF to take a time-out on physical and endurance training for three days," Minister of Defence Teo Chee Hean said in a statement.

A pilot trainee collapsed Wednesday afternoon while undergoing jungle orientation training in Brunei and died later in hospital.

In the other incident, a recruit fainted a day earlier during a two-kilometre (1.2-mile) walk at a Singapore training centre and also died in hospital.

The defence minister said the suspension "will allow the SAF (Singapore Armed Forces) to review and refocus on such activities to ensure that proper procedures are in place and being followed before such training resumes."

Singapore has one of Asia's most modern armed forces, to which young men are drafted for national service.

"While the SAF needs to carry out realistic training, this will be done without compromise to safety," the minister said.
